 INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

If you have two+ years experience in inside sales, a "can-do" attitude, and a desire to help provide people with a product that can save their lives and property, you'll fit right in. Our offices are conveniently located in Bishop Ranch in San Ramon. The position involves a consultative selling style that allows the sales representative to design a security system that fits the needs of the customer. Best of all, our people are bright, friendly, motivated, and work toward a common goal: providing our customers with the best products and customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Handle inbound and outbound customer contacts by responding appropriately to customer needs with good product knowledge, customer service, and sales skills to secure results and client satisfaction.
  • Create self-generated leads as well as work company generated leads
  • Effective use of sales abilities to create a sense of urgency, identifying features and benefits of each product/service and responding appropriately to customers by handling objections and closing the sale.
  • Participate in on-going coaching and training sessions to increase effective communication, customer service and sales skills, to maximize individual and team performance.
 
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • A creative, outgoing and energetic personality to present ideas clearly and enthusiastically to create impact and drive audience interest.
  • Previous experience working in a sales environment
  • Ability to determine individual customer needs, create opportunities and overcome objections.
  • Establish collaborative working relationships and facilitate communication with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced consumer driven environment and make responsible decisions quickly.
  • Ability to organize goals through problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Ability to remain composed when faced with unexpected problems and stressful situations.
  • Possess organizational skills to handle the administration functions of the position.
  • AA degree required. Completion of a post secondary education an asset, but not required. Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
 
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • College Degree.
We are currently seeking 1-full time representative, but are willing to consider part-time (20 hours per week) candidates if they have the right skills.

Salary: $12-$15 per hour (DOE) plus commission.

SAFE provides a compensation package which includes base and commissions. Health, Dental, & Vision is available after 90 days. 401K is available after 6 months.
